Great story about never giving up and wanting the best for others。 Loved the tiny details in the illustrations and how they represented all the different children of the world。 Perfect story for parents to read to young children before bed。 Very sweet and carrying meaning。
Carrie Johnson,

I love this book and it makes a great letter writing prompt for mother's or father's day。 Or random act is kindness - send someone an I wish you more note。 I love this book and it makes a great letter writing prompt for mother's or father's day。 Or random act is kindness - send someone an I wish you more note。 。。。more

Amy Krause Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld’s “I Wish You More” is a simple prayer of sorts。 Applicable to children of all ages, this book, with its bright and cheerful illustrations, encourages readers to pursue a full life and find joy in all things, even the obstacles。
Ady,
This is a super sweet picture book。 It seems like it was written more for parents than for little kids, but the illustrations are great, and the words are moving。 This, to me, feels like one of those children books that make a terrific graduation gift。 Small children might not love the story, but the heartfelt wishes for all the best of everything for a kid would be well-received by older readers。CAWPILE Score NAStar Rating NARead in Print, 34 Pages

Jody,
Today is the day we say goodbye to our amazing student teacher, Mrs。 Julie Roberts! You would think that I would have given her a book such as this, however, she managed to find a book for me that I have never read。。。until now。 And I loved it! This picture book is for anyone who is moving forward, which of course, is everyone。
Ms Bright,
I'm a sarcastic, cynical Australian, so unfortunately this book didn't work for me, even though it seems to have been a hit in some countries。 I'm putting it down to cultural differences。There are some cute illustrations。 My favourite was the one of the girl hiding under the bedcovers to read a book in the middle of the night。 My second favourite was the boy who ran out of pockets to stash things in。However, this book felt like the equivalent of a checkout person saying 'Have a nice day!'。Cultur I'm a sarcastic, cynical Australian, so unfortunately this book didn't work for me, even though it seems to have been a hit in some countries。 I'm putting it down to cultural differences。There are some cute illustrations。 My favourite was the one of the girl hiding under the bedcovers to read a book in the middle of the night。 My second favourite was the boy who ran out of pockets to stash things in。However, this book felt like the equivalent of a checkout person saying 'Have a nice day!'。Cultural differences。 I'm sure of it。 。。。more
Decha Cullen,
Cute illustrations, but the wording is stale and boring。 "I wish。。。" "I wish。。。" this seems like something a middle schooler would write。 Wishes range from cliche ("I wish you more ups than downs") to cringe-worthy ("。。。more can than knot")。 I rated this book two stars because some of the illustrations did a good job of bolstering the lackluster wording and the overall message was nice。 However, this book won't become part of my son's book collection。 Cute illustrations, but the wording is stale and boring。 "I wish。。。" "I wish。。。" this seems like something a middle schooler would write。 Wishes range from cliche ("I wish you more ups than downs") to cringe-worthy ("。。。more can than knot")。 I rated this book two stars because some of the illustrations did a good job of bolstering the lackluster wording and the overall message was nice。 However, this book won't become part of my son's book collection。 。。。more

Kimberly,
The best part about this book is the illustrations。 They are completely adorable and well done。 I only wish the text was as inspiring。 It's a bit cliche。 I've definitely seen it done before and done better。 The best part about this book is the illustrations。 They are completely adorable and well done。 I only wish the text was as inspiring。 It's a bit cliche。 I've definitely seen it done before and done better。 。。。more

Brecken Joice,
Summary: In this picture Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld combined their talents to create a cheerful book of endless good wishes for children。 This book seems to be written from a parent perspective in hopes of giving kids a feeling of love and hope for their life。 Represent wishes of curiosity and wonder, of friendship and strength, and of laughter and peace。 Whether it be celebrating milestones or observing life's everyday moments this book gives kids a hope for their life。 Analysis: Summary: In this picture Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld combined their talents to create a cheerful book of endless good wishes for children。 This book seems to be written from a parent perspective in hopes of giving kids a feeling of love and hope for their life。 Represent wishes of curiosity and wonder, of friendship and strength, and of laughter and peace。 Whether it be celebrating milestones or observing life's everyday moments this book gives kids a hope for their life。 Analysis: Books that give children a glimpse of hope and peace for their lives I think are beautiful。 Books like I Wish You More are perfect for families and kids of all ages。 The illustrations in this book take children through all stages of childhood and throughout the world。 The dynamics of the illustrations were beautiful and realistic。 How could use in classroom: This book could be used to teach students about repetition and how that can be used in not an excessive amount。 Can also be used to ask students the importance of repetition and what repetition does for a story。 。。。more
